A Manhattan deli worker took a bullet to the buttocks during a struggle with an armed butthead who was trying to rob the place early Thursday morning, cops and sources said.

The 25-year-old worker — who goes by the name Ace — was working the counter at Wholesome Organic Convenience on Rivington Street in Manhattan when the gunman came into the store at around 1:22 a.m. looking to buy chips and candy, he told ABC 7.

But the suspect didn’t have any money — and he whipped out a gun when the victim was distracted and said he was robbing the place, according to the victim.

The goon then made his way around the counter, where he and the employee struggled with the gun – before it went off, according to sources.

After the blast, the fiend ran off with an undetermined amount of stolen goods, sources said.

The worker was taken to Bellevue in stable condition, according to authorities.

The shooter was still on the loose Thursday evening.
