A Big Apple taxi driver was trapped dangling upside down after his cab crashed and flipped in Manhattan early Tuesday.

The male driver was spotted hanging from his seatbelt inside his wrecked yellow cab after crashing at East 32nd Street and 2nd Avenue in Murray Hill at about 5 a.m., FDNY officials said.

The yellow taxi could be seen lying on its roof in the middle of the street as fire crews worked to free the cabbie, startling photos from the scene show.
