When audiences last saw Bette's admittedly selfish, bawdy character C.C. Bloom she had gained primary physical custody of Hillary's daughter Victoria Essex (Grace Johnston).

Barbara also dated her Drowning on Dry Land costar Naveen Andrews from 1999-2009 after divorcing artist Stephen Douglas in 1993 after only one year of wedded bliss.
