Influencer Paige Paul has been roasted by parents after she claimed that children 'raise each other,' while also revealing how many kids she plans to have with her husband, pro tennis player Tommy Paul.

Paige, 28, who went viral earlier this summer for calling out a store on Nantucket for displaying a 'no influencers' sign, shared her controversial parenting take during a recent appearance on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast.

'I want a lot of kids,' she admitted during the episode, before adding that she and her husband plan to have around 'five' or 'six' children.

'I've had a really fortunate career where [I'll be] able to afford that many kids, I think that's a huge part of it,' Paige, who is the founder of lifestyle brand Dairy Boy, added.

'You want to be able to give every child the same opportunity,' she continued.

Podcast host Amanda Hirsch then joked that she wanted to 'check in' with Paige to see if she still wanted that many kids after she goes through childbirth and the 'terrible twos' for the first time.

'You don't think they just start raising each other at that point?' Paige then asked.

Hirsch disagreed, telling her: 'That's just something people say, it's not true.'

She also revealed how many kids she plans to have with her husband, pro tennis player Tommy Paul: 'Five or six'

Paige reiterated her claim, stating: 'Three [kids] I don't think [raise themselves] but four [and up], I think, raise [themselves].'

'Like I would know,' she jokingly added.

Viewers were quick to take aim at Paige over her claim that kids 'raise themselves' in the comment section of the podcast clip after it was shared on Instagram.

'As a mom of four under seven, I can confirm, THEY DO NOT RAISE THEMSELVES,' one person wrote.

Another seconded: 'Mom of four. Can confirm they do not raise themselves.'

'I am the eldest of five. Do not have more than three lol,' someone else advised.

One Instagram user sarcastically commented: 'Oh geez! Give me a break.'

'She’s living in La La Land. I have five and none of that is true. No one raises anyone else. Stop at two. You’re welcome,' another agreed.

Others thought that it was 'cute' that Paige had so much 'optimism.'

'Aww I love the optimism [people] without kids bring to the conversation,' one person wrote.

Someone else shared: 'Nah don’t stomp on her dreams like that.  Not everyone with a bunch of kids is miserable about it.'

Paige's comments come just a few weeks after her and Tommy's blockbuster July wedding, which took place in Old Westbury Gardens on Long Island.

Tommy donned a Burberry double-breasted tuxedo for the ceremony, while his new wife wore a stunning Carolina Herrera gown.

Her dress was designed by Wes Gordon, and Paige revealed in an interview with Vogue afterwards that she had five fittings and 'hours of conversation' to ensure the look was perfect for her big day.

She also wore multiple other outfits throughout the New York bash, including a Wiederhoeft corset and other Carolina Herrera dresses – including a 'getting ready' gown and a separate look for the rehearsal.

'It feels like we threw the party of the decade,' Tommy told Vogue. 'It was so special. And this next chapter with Paige is something I've been looking forward to since the day we met.'

The pair's romance began four years ago in 2022 when Tommy began liking Paige's posts on Instagram, and she made the first move by sliding into his DMs.

They arranged to meet at the US Open in New York later that year, with Paige declaring: 'Tommy invited me to one of his matches... and the rest is history.'
