A Kentucky couple is behind bars after a 1-year-old boy was left to choke to death on his own dirty diaper inside a garage filled with urine and trash cans.

Deavan Williams, 22, is facing murder charges after admitting to horrendous forms of abuse, with the infant’s mother Alexandrae Price, 22, also charged with child abuse, local WLEX reported.

Williams was allegedly the sole adult watching over the boy on July 27 when the toddler “consumed portions of a feces-contaminated diaper” and choked, according to Allen County District Court documents.

The child was taken to a nearby hospital that night, where he was found with “suspicious trauma, including mouth bleeding and body bruising,” the Allen County Sheriff’s Office said.

During the interview with police, Williams admitted to knowing that the baby had eaten feces-filled diapers before the deadly incident, with the suspect maintaining that he was asleep while watching over him on July 27.

The investigation of the house found that Williams and Price kept the baby in a horrendous environment that threatened his health long before the choking incident.

“A physical inspection and interviews revealed Williams knowingly subjected the child under twelve to extreme endangerment and cruel punishment, residing in an un-air-conditioned garage filled with trash, beer cans, soiled diapers, and heavy cat urine, where the infant’s playpen sat directly on the contaminated floor,” the police citation stated.

The playpen the child was in also contained “animal urine, animal feces, raw sewage, decomposing animals, and other hazardous conditions,” the document added.

Williams and Price also admitted to bathing the baby with an outdoor hose and said they were “surprised the baby did not have parasites due to the filth” he was surrounded by.

The deplorable dad also fed the tot “extremely spicy foods despite Alexandrae Price telling him to stop… and acknowledging that the child routinely consumed diapers, couch cushions, and other unsafe objects,” the court docs said.

“Price also stated that the living area had flies and spiders. A large amount of trash and debris was also found in the living area, posing significant health hazards,” the arrest citation stated.
