Passengers revealed terror on a plane at Antalya airport in Turkey after a Boeing 777-3Q8 crashed into a ground radar antenna as it taxied.
It is believe the plane's wing clipped the antenna which then fell heavily onto the body of the aircraft.
The impact was so great that oxygen masks came down and overhead bins opened, spilling out bags.
The 267 passengers on board the flight from Istanbul were safely evacuated after the 'powerful hit'. One person sustained minor injuries in the incident.
Travelers on board said the sound of the impact was 'frightening'.
One woman was reportedly 'hysterical' when the Turkish Airlines aircraft was holed by the collapsing metal structure.
A Russian passenger filmed the carnage in the cabin while saying: 'After landing, something broke off in the plane.

'[One] woman is hysterical. Even the skin of the plane was torn off. This metal thing, we ran over it.'

Turkish Airlines stated that a technical investigation was launched into the incident.
Turkish Airlines Communications Director Yahya Üstün wrote on social media after the incident:
'All 267 passengers on board were safely evacuated, and we have received information that one passenger sustained minor injuries and is in good health.'
Russian tourists reported a two hour delay in collecting their luggage after the crash.
