She currently stands trial and has pleaded not guilty to three murder charges, but not because she didn’t kill her daughter Cora, 5, and two sons, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months. She is pleading insanity. If convicted of first-degree murder, she could receive life imprisonment without parole. If found not guilty by reason of lack of criminal responsibility, she would likely be committed to a secure psychiatric hospital rather than released.
