One unidentified individual was injured as a car collided with a pedestrian outside the Pentagon on Thursday night, officials told the Daily Caller.
A spokesperson for the Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA), the primary investigating agency for the incident, told the Caller that the injury occurred during a single-car crash on the connector road between the North and South Pentagon parking lots at around 8:45 p.m.
A video of the collision was shared by Dave Statter, an independent reporter who posts video footage of incidents around the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia area. (RELATED: 2 Dead After Military Chopper Crashes In Texas Field)
The video shows a car speeding through an intersection as it approaches the Pentagon, passing two police cars parked in a small parking lot next to the intersection.

— Dave Statter (@STATter911) August 14, 2026The vehicle appeared to have its brake lights on, maintaining its speed, and went through the median as the road curved to the right. The car made it through the empty left side of the road as it approached a pedestrian on the left sidewalk.
The left side of the car appeared to hit a wall barrier between the road and the Pentagon, causing it to turn toward the pedestrian as sparks began to fly from behind the car.
The car eventually stopped, but only after appearing to hit the pedestrian, who had been running away.
One of the police cars the driver had passed then drove over to the crash scene.
The video shows the police officers talking separately with two individuals whose faces have been blurred for privacy.
Statter said the Arlington Fire Department was dispatched to the scene and that the driver spent time with the PFPA, but was not arrested.
The PFPA spokesperson told the Caller that a medical assessment was conducted by the officers and that the fire department had transported the pedestrian to be treated for what is believed to be non-life-threatening injuries at the Oakville Hospital.
The car involved in the collision was towed, while its driver received several citations, the spokesperson told the Caller.
