A Reform UK supporter has warned others to check their bank statements carefully after losing £400 to a fraudulent website impersonating the political party.

Graham, who joined Reform UK around a year ago, believed he had paid a one‑off fee of about £60.

Despite not authorising any further charges or recurring payments, the 86-year-old, who celebrates his birthday tomorrow, discovered regular amounts had been taken from his account over the course of four months.

“There was a one‑off joining fee… I was happy to pay that, but there was no way I authorised any further payments of £100 a time,” he told GB News.

The issue came to light in June when Graham spotted an unexpected £100 charge on his credit card statement.

A closer look revealed three earlier £100 payments taken in March, April and May — a total of £400. It was only after family members helped investigate that signs of a scam became clear.

According to Graham, the website used a version of the Reform UK logo that differed from the party’s official branding.

“It had a small ‘uk’, for example, and one of my family members traced the website back to Brazil,” he said.

Realising the site was not connected to the party left him feeling angry and frustrated.

“I feel really angry at being ripped off… and a bit concerned that I’d been caught out,” he said.

“I thought I was pretty good at spotting scams, but this one got through.”

Despite the losses, Graham said his bank managed to credit him the full amount while it analyses the dispute. He went on to praise the support he received during the process.

He is now urging others to monitor their accounts closely.

“Keep a careful eye on your credit card statements and check every item each month,” he said.

“See if you can pick up things that are wrong or fraudulent before the fourth month — which is how long it took me.

“I should have been more alert and noticed it on my credit card statement before June when it started in March,” he said.
