Pete Hegseth: Right Man, Right Time

Pete Hegseth is the right man to lead the Department of Defense at this critical time in our history. What the Department of Defense needs more than anything right now, is not a corporate manager vested in the military industrial complex, nor a career general promoted through a generation of indoctrination in woke political correctness. The Department needs a warrior who will restore it's war fighting spirit.
Pete is such a warrior. He has first-hand knowledge of the sacrifices made by Americaâs war fighters in supporting and defending the Constitution of our great republic. He has the public presence to restore and reinvigorate the warrior spirit of Americaâs military.
I made Peteâs acquaintance well before he sat on the couch with the ladies of Outnumbered as the screen test for his Fox News career. Even then, Pete was making a difference for the Soldiers and other service men and women whom he served beside in harmâs way. As a private citizen, he was instrumental in turning back the Democrats' efforts to abandon Iraq at the time of Surge in April of 2008. This was the time when John Murtha was falsely accusing the Haditha Marines of âcold-blooded murderâ and Hillary Clinton was calling Gen Petraeus a liar in the Senate, undermining the military efforts in Iraq and encouraging Al-Qaeda in Iraq to keep attacking and killing Americaâs Soldiers. As the head of Veterans for Freedom, Pete brought together over a thousand Iraq and Afghanistan veterans from across the country for a Veterans for Victory Rally in Washington. The culmination of the rally sent the veterans to lobby Members of Congress to stay strong in support of the troops and not to waste the lives and sacrifices of their fellow service members.
Peteâs efforts that day were successful. The Surge served to stabilize the situation in Iraq, gutted Al-Qaeda, and put the country on the path to recovery. Americaâs efforts in Iraq continued to experience success, right up to the point when Obama yanked our combat soldiers out, creating the vacuum which ISIS and Iran quickly expanded to fill.
Pete continued his efforts with Veterans for Freedom throughout 2008, by supporting veteran candidates facing off against powerful politicians who were betraying our troops in the field. After Congressman John Murtha put the United States Congress stamp of approval on enemy propaganda with his accusations against Haditha Marines, Pete held him accountable for his lies. He stood, along with Medal of Honor hero David Bellavia, and Gold Star Mom Debbie Lee, to support Murthaâs Iraq War veteran opponent. Thanks to the support of Pete for such a longshot candidate, Murtha was forced to campaign for re-election for the first time in 30 years, spend over a million dollars to protect his seat, and bring in Democratic heavyweights to support his campaign including Tony Podesta, Bill & Hillary Clinton, and Barack Obama.
Of course, the liberal long knives are out for Pete. Mainstream media outlets like MSNBC and their former Obama Administration acolytes are already proclaiming him unqualified. Attacking him for âlack of experienceâ and belittling his combat tours, and throwing every possible smear they can to declare him unready and unfit.
Pete's military experience far outshines the previous Secretaries who were not career Generals or Admirals. Most spent their limited military careers as analysts, keeping score cards and statistics on warriors like Pete. For example, Robert McNamara who designed and then abandoned Americaâs flawed strategy in Vietnam, spent his three years of Army Air Corps service during WWII compiling and analyzing statistics on Curtis LeMayâs B-29 bombers. Or Ashton Carter, who never served in uniform and spent most of his career as an academic and defense acquisition analyst. He oversaw the rise of ISIS following Obamaâs abandonment of stabilization efforts in Iraq.
Perhaps the shining example of a âqualifiedâ Secretary of Defense advocated by the Democrats would be Lloyd Austin. However, despite Secretary Austinâs over forty-year military career, he failed to recognize and prevent the debacle of the sudden and poorly planned retreat from Afghanistan. Austinâs failures resulted in abandoning hundreds, if not thousands of Afghan allies and numerous American citizens, billions of dollarsâ worth of arms and equipment for the Taliban to use against us, and the unnecessary deaths of 13 US Service personnel and hundreds, if not thousands, of Afghanis at the hands of the Taliban. Unfortunately, Secretary Austin seems to have far more focus on eliminating non-existent white supremacy from the ranks of the military and destroying the warrior culture of Americaâs fighting forces.
Pete is a fighting man. He understands our military and its purpose. He understands the requirement to maintain measured and planned actions in entering, winning, and extricating our nation from military actions. While working the guard mission in Guantanamo, Pete stood eye to eye with the worst of the Islamic terrorists who would see our country destroyed. His years of experience as a combat Infantryman in both Iraq and Afghanistan definitively demonstrate that he is willing to give all for the Soldiers he leads. His efforts as private citizen voicing his opinion, moved the nationâs political needle in support of our fighting men and women long before he began his Fox News career. At Fox, he has effectively used his public forum to support and inspire Americaâs warriors.
Pete truly loves America, is thoroughly dedicated to the Constitution, and has an undying loyalty to Americaâs warriors. He is the right man to be the Secretary of Defense.

Trump is a disruptor.
That’s why he won three elections.
Decent hard working folk don’t want the same old, same old.
This time around the Disruptor in Chief is hiring disruptors who are going to shake up the intolerable status quo.
Simple really.
Fight, fight, fight.
