'Like were they placed there? Did she fall asleep and wake up and boom, gone? I need to know,' one inquisitive passenger wrote.
Others pointed out it means the plane may not be as clean as flight staff want you to believe.
'This also means they aren't cleaning the planes between flights anymore,' a user moaned.
For those wanting to keep the lashes on, accompanied by a full face of makeup, flight attendants recently shared how they achieve their own flawless looks.
Taking to Reddit, one user asked: 'Can flight attendants share their beauty and makeup routines?'
They continued: 'Not sure if I am the only one who thinks that flight attendants have the most amazing makeup! Even on long-haul flights I have always seen them looking flawless.'
They continued: 'Yesterday, I caught the last flight of the day and the flight attendant looked as fresh as a daisy with impeccable foundation, perfect lipstick and mesmerizing highlighter.
'I couldn't ask about her routine though. Please share your secrets - and actual products - for long-lasting beautiful makeup.'

Flight staff weighed in with their top tricks and advice in response to curious beauty-seeking passengers.
Crew members were happy to comply, with some revealing that long-haul flights prompted them to change their makeup techniques.
Many of them say the secret is the keep your face refreshed and moisturized.
One person responded saying: 'I used to work long-haul and the main things I would say were different to my normal makeup routine were that I would use powder, especially around my eyes, to keep eyeliner on for the whole time.
'I used to use gel eyeliner from Bobbi Brown (found it lasted better) then bring a liquid one to top up any faded edges.
'Then to refresh the makeup I would use a face mist every hour or so to stop makeup looking cakey.'
Other cabin workers offered their advice, stating: 'I personally never wore foundation or powder because of the dry airplane air.
'I cared more about my skin health, so I constantly slathered my face with layers of occlusive moisturizer,' they said.
Meanwhile, another user responded saying good makeup look comes from within.
They said that flight attendants are 'religious about drinking water, hydrating their skin, and using sunscreen.'
They added: 'You know those big bottles of water on a lot of flights? A ton of flight crew aim to drink at least one or two of those a day, and take leftover bottles for their layover.'
