Check the season dates, events, tasks, juicy rewards, and all the details.

Pokemon Go Forever Forward season: Dates & time

The Forever Forward season will run from Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 10:00 AM until Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at 10:00 AM local time.

This follows directly from the Memories in Motion season, which brought Gigantamax Pikachu to the game and debuted Flittle, Espathra, Dottler, and Orbeetle.

Pokemon debuts

Since the Max Out season introduced both Dynamax and Gigantamax forms to Pokemon Go, new creatures with these capabilities have been making their way into the game.

The first additions of the season will take place during the Go Fest, when Mewtwo debuts its two Mega Evolutions, Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Mewtwo Y.

Later in the season, Mega Raichu X, Mega Raichu Y, and Mega Skarmory, introduced during Pokemon Legends Z-A, will also arrive in Niantic’s game.

But that’s not all, as Dynamax Electabuzz, Magikarp, and Feebas will also be added to the game, with more to come, surely.

Big returns

Several fan-favorite Legendaries will return to the game. Some, such as Reshiram, Zekrom, and Necrozma, will do so in Raid battles. In contrast, others, such as Lugia, Ho-Oh, and Latias, will do so through the monthly GO Pass.
