Pokemon Winds and Waves fans may have just had their clearest look yet at Gen 10’s world, with new leaks showing a stitched-together map and more.
It won’t be long until the highly anticipated Pokemon Winds and Waves releases to excited fans across the world in 2027, with many looking forward to the new location and, of course, the addition of new Pokemon.
After all, this marks the series’ tenth generation, with The Pokemon Company confirming an open world of islands and ocean to explore. It’s also revealed the three starters: Grass-type Browt, Fire-type Pombon, and Water-type Gecqua.
That official glimpse has left plenty of room for leaks, and an earlier map revealed by prominent leakers prompted fans to compare the region’s shape with Indonesia, although The Pokemon Company has not confirmed its real-world inspiration.
Well, now, another batch of images has given fans a much broader view of the islands and a possible first look at one of their Gyms.
Pokemon Winds and Waves leak shows map and Grass Gym
Shared by Centro Leaks, the prominent leaker took to X to reveal sections of an early Winds and Waves map. Following this, thanks to NewNinjason on X, the separate pieces were stitched into a wider view, showing islands spread across a large stretch of water in what’s widely regarded as the “most complete version of the Pokemon Winds & Waves” map out there right now.
That’s not all, as another post shows footage labelled as a beta Grass Gym. It offers a look at a possible Gym setting and what the building could look like. It’s worth noting, however, that it is subject to change, and we don’t know how its challenge will work.
The leaks also extend the discussion about the region’s inspiration. Centro Leaks claims part of a Pokemon version of Australia will be explorable, suggesting the world in this early version may reach beyond the islands fans previously compared with Indonesia. That claim has not been confirmed.
Currently, The Pokemon Company has not officially revealed a complete map, Gym lineup or Australian area, and any features shown in an early build could change before the 2027 release.
