Pokemon is teaming up with Polaroid for a limited-edition collection of instant cameras, film, and accessories as part of the franchise’s 30th anniversary celebrations.

The Polaroid x Pokemon collection itself includes three special-edition cameras featuring Poke Ball, Pikachu, and Sylveon designs, and Polaroid says the collaboration is its biggest yet, with the collection designed to combine Pokemon’s characters with its instant photography lineup.

The products will be available in limited quantities, with pre-orders beginning in August ahead of a full release later this year.

Polaroid x Pokemon cameras start at $99.99

The collection is headlined by a special-edition Polaroid Now Generation 3 featuring a Poke Ball design. It will cost $139.99 in the US.

Two versions of the smaller Polaroid Go Generation 3 are also being released, with buyers able to choose between Pikachu and Sylveon designs. Both cameras are priced at $99.99.

Pokemon-themed film is joining the lineup as well. Polaroid Color i-Type Film Pokemon Edition will cost $22.99, while double packs of Polaroid Go Color Film featuring Pikachu or Sylveon will each cost $24.99.

The wider collection includes a Pokemon Polaroid Go camera case and photo album for $24.99 each, alongside a $14.99 camera strap compatible with both cameras.

“Pokemon has always been about discovery, connection, and exploration,” Mathieu Galante, Sr. Director, Licensing at The Pokemon Company International, said.

“Working with Polaroid feels like a natural extension of these values: encouraging fans to capture moments that matter most to them in their own way and turn their favourite memories into tangible keepsakes.”

Pre-orders for the Polaroid x Pokemon collection open on August 25, 2026, through the Pokemon Center in the US, UK, and Canada, as well as Polaroid’s website.

The Polaroid collection is the latest major brand collaboration celebrating Pokemon’s 30th anniversary. Earlier in 2026, Pokemon also teamed up with Casio for a special-edition watch packed with references to the franchise, including Pikachu details and other hidden design elements.
