President Trump Delivers Historic Wins for Kansas Workers, Families, Farmers, and Rural Communities

Today, President Donald J. Trump returns to Kansas to showcase his proven record of results that put Kansas workers, families, seniors, farmers, and communities first. Under the leadership of President Trump and Republicans, Kansans are benefiting from historic tax relief, surging private investment and job creation, stronger rural healthcare, major support for farmers and ranchers, and new investments in the state’s military installations.

Delivering Tax Relief for Hardworking Kansans

President Trump’s Working Families Tax Cuts are putting real money back in the pockets of Kansas workers, families, and seniors.

• No Tax on Social Security: Approximately 500,000 Kansas seniors benefit from the new senior deduction, with the average senior expected to pay zero federal taxes on Social Security benefits.
• Bigger Refunds: Kansas taxpayers saw average refunds of $3,453 in 2026.
• Protecting Jobs and Wages: The Working Families Tax Cuts safeguarded 53,000 Kansas jobs, $10 billion in state GDP, and $5 billion in workers’ wages.

Strengthening Rural Healthcare

President Trump is delivering targeted resources to expand care in Kansas’s rural communities.

• Rural Health Transformation: Kansas secured $222 million in first-year funding from the Working Families Tax Cuts’ Rural Health Transformation Program — the sixth-largest award among all states.
• Modernizing Care Delivery: The Trump Administration awarded nearly $17 million to 14 rural Kansas providers to adopt new diagnostic tools and remote patient monitoring, plus $780,000 to improve patient transport between facilities.

Unleashing Private Investment and Job Creation

President Trump’s pro-growth, America First agenda is driving major private investment and high-quality job creation throughout the Sunflower State.

• Beale Infrastructure is investing $3 billion to build a data center campus in De Soto.
• Merck Animal Health is investing $895 million to expand its De Soto manufacturing facility and R&D laboratories, creating 200 jobs.
• Fiserv is investing $175 million to open a Strategic Fintech Hub in Overland Park, creating 2,000 jobs.
• Indra Group is investing $50 million to build and equip a new manufacturing facility in Kansas City, creating 200 jobs.
• U.S. Engineering Metalworks is investing $25 million to build a 110,000-square-foot production facility at Lawrence VenturePark, creating about 50 jobs.
• J.M. Smucker Co. is investing $20.5 million to expand its Topeka pet food factory.
• The Trump Administration awarded $34 million to the Kansas City BioSecure Manufacturing Tech Hub to build an advanced pharmaceutical manufacturing center and train workers in biomanufacturing.

Putting Kansas Farmers and Ranchers First

President Trump is delivering direct support, infrastructure upgrades, and market opportunities for Kansas agriculture.

• Emergency Assistance: The Trump Administration has delivered more than $735 million to nearly 53,000 Kansas farmers through the Emergency Commodity Assistance Program for the 2024 crop year. Nearly 50,000 Kansas producers have also received more than $793 million in payments as part of a $12 billion national bridge program for trade disruptions and higher input costs left by the Biden Administration.
• Support for Ranchers: In September 2026, President Trump signed two Executive Orders to back American ranchers — one directing action to help producers protect herds from wolves and other predators and advancing country-of-origin labeling transparency, and another strengthening enforcement of the Packers and Stockyards Act to expand market access without compromising food safety.
• Infrastructure for Rural Communities: In September 2026, the Department of Transportation awarded more than $53 million to reconstruct and widen K-96 between I-135 and I-35 in Wichita, reducing travel times and improving access for school buses and emergency vehicles.
• Year-Round E15: President Trump approved year-round E15 sales, expanding markets for Kansas corn growers and giving drivers more affordable options at the pump.

Investing in Kansas’s Military Installations

President Trump is delivering new resources to strengthen Kansas’s military bases and support the men and women who serve there.

• At Fort Riley, the Trump Administration is investing $26 million for a new Air Traffic Control tower, $5.5 million to modernize security infrastructure surrounding the intermodal railyard, and $2.6 million to improve the staging area so the 1st Infantry Division can position equipment more efficiently for loading and unloading.
• At Fort Leavenworth, the Trump Administration is investing $8 million to add a new fire station and $900,000 to update the current facility.
• Forbes Field in Topeka was named one of four candidate bases in October 2026 for the KC-46A Pegasus mission, which would bring eight tanker aircraft to the Airmen of the 190th Air Refueling Wing.

President Trump and Republicans are delivering lower taxes, major private investment, stronger support for farmers and rural communities, and new resources for Kansas’s military. Kansans face a clear choice: continue this progress, or return to the higher taxes, open borders, and failed policies of the past.
