Royal correspondent Cameron Walker has branded Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's 2024 Christmas card as "odd", suggesting it lacks "personality" from the couple.
The comments come as the Sussexes released their latest festive card, continuing their tradition of sharing seasonal greetings.
Speaking to GB News, Walker said: "Prince Harry spoke to the New York Times a couple of weeks ago and said that he is happy with his life in America, with his children and his wife.
"That Christmas card was odd because the wording of it said on behalf of the office of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan, which seems very far removed from the principles themselves.
"Then we had this kind of sporadic imagery of stuff they'd done throughout the year, including the Colombia and Nigeria tour.
"It appears that there wasn't much personality in there. It seems like somebody else did it on their behalf."
The new Christmas card features a rare glimpse of Prince Archie, 5, and Princess Lilibet, 3, captured from behind as they run towards their parents.
The main image shows Meghan smiling at Archie while Harry greets Lilibet, whose red hair matches her brother's.

The outdoor scene appears to be set in a park, with the family's three dogs also visible in the photograph.
The card carries the message: "On behalf of the office of Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Archewell Productions and Archewell Foundation, we wish you a very happy holiday season and a joyful New Year."
The card features six images in total, showcasing various moments from the Sussexes' year.
One photograph shows Meghan embracing a young girl, while another captures Harry with his arm around his wife.

The card is intended for professional use, with the Sussexes sending a separate private card to close family and friends.
Despite stepping down as working royals nearly five years ago, the Sussexes have maintained their tradition of sharing Christmas cards like other members of the Royal Family.
Last year's card featured the couple at the 2023 Invictus Games in Dusseldorf, with Harry in a black shirt and jacket and Meghan in a dark green strapless gown.
Their 2022 card was a simple black-and-white image of the couple, with Meghan in a white off-shoulder dress.
