He is harried.

Prince Harry is “deeply depressed and embarrassed” by the probe into his charity Sentebale, and devastated that the foundation he started to honor his late mother has been “ripped away” from him.

”He loves his charities — this is what he wants to spend his life doing and now, one of them is gone … and in the most horrible way,” a source told Paula Froelich of NewsNation.

Harry founded the African foundation in 2006 with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho in honor of his mother, Princess Diana, who opened the UK’s first HIV/AIDS unit at London Middlesex Hospital in 1987. The people’s princess also famously shook the hand of a man suffering from the disease.

Sentebale, which “provides comprehensive support for children and young people, including those living with HIV/AIDS,” is being investigated by the Charity Commission after its chairwoman, Dr. Sophie Chandauka, accused the Duke of Sussex of “harassment and bullying.”

The allegations came after Harry quit as the charity’s patron, citing unrest between Chandauka and the board of trustees.

“With heavy hearts, we have resigned from our roles as Patrons of the organization until further notice, in support of and solidarity with the board of trustees who have had to do the same,” Harry and Seeiso said in a statement.

“It is devastating that the relationship between the charity’s trustees and the chair of the board broke down beyond repair, creating an untenable situation.”

There was reportedly friction between Chandauka and Meghan Markle at a Sentebale charity polo match in Miami last April after the duchess showed up unannounced and asked Chandauka to move during the trophy ceremony.

That led to Harry allegedly sending an “unpleasant” and “imperious” message to Chandauka, according to The Telegraph.

Prince Harry’s camp declined to comment.
