A prominent Gaza family reportedly executed a Hamas terrorist in broad daylight after the gunman shot dead one of their relatives while he was waiting in line for flour.
Members of the Abu Samra clan — a known family in central Gaza — admitted to killing the Hamas operative in Deir al-Balah on Tuesday after he gunned down their relative, Abdulrahman Sha’aban Abu Samra, earlier in the day, the Times of Israel reported.
Footage circulating on social media showed a handful of heavily armed men parading the apparent terrorist through the street in the moments before they opened fire on him at point-blank range.
The revenge attack came just hours after the Hamas militant had gunned down Abdulrahman for apparently refusing an order to leave the flour distribution line.
The caught-on-camera execution highlights the mounting fury civilians are having with Hamas — as demonstrations have broken out in the war-torn Gaza Strip of late to protest the misery the terrorists have brought.
It comes after thousands of Palestinians took to the streets of northern Gaza last week to call for an end to the conflict with Israel.
Viral videos captured some civilians waving white flags while chanting “Stop the war” and “Hamas out.”
“Stop the war,” as civilians waved around white flags and chanted “Hamas out,” viral videos on social media show.
Protests in Gaza are a rare occurrence given Hamas’s tendency to crack down on any criticism levied against its terrorist members.
Meanwhile, Hamas hasn’t commented publicly about the Gazan-led execution of one its members.
