Putin could unleash hypersonic nukes on London after becoming 'fed up' with being taunted by the West, his top TV propagandist warns in latest chilling WW3 threat

Vladimir Putin wheeled out his most senior TV propagandist to warn Britain of the threat of the dictator unleashing a nuclear attack on London.

The Russian president is likely getting 'fed up' with being taunted by the West, warned Dmitry Kiselyov, 70, seen as the tyrant's trusted mouthpiece.

'If Britain does lift its restrictions on Kyiv for strikes with British Storm Shadow missiles deep into Russian territory, then from now on [they] could face a nuclear response,' he said, referring to Putin recently announcing a rewriting of Moscow's rules for use of its doomsday weapons.

'And, by the way… Britain itself will also become a legitimate target for our hypersonic Dagger [Kinzhal missiles] if its [Storm Shadows] are launched deep into Russia. Daggers can be armed with both conventional and nuclear warheads.'

Speaking on state TV, he added that Britain would not be able to say it had not been warned. 'And London would do well to remember that the British Isles have no missile defence system at all,' he threatened.

'The decision on a nuclear response will be made by one man - Putin.

'And he has already been provoked so much by the West that at some point the Russian leader may get fed up.'

Kiselyov is the doyen of Putin propagandists but is also overall chief of Russia's largest state TV empire, personally appointed by the dictator.

'Putin has moved into action. And now it will not be possible to ignore the Kremlin.'

The director general of Russia Today, his threat to Britain came as prominent sports stars also called for the bombing of London.

Famous skier Yelena Välbe and former boxer Nikolai Valuyev, 51, now an MP, both voiced the view that it was acceptable to bomb Britain.

Välbe, president of the Russian Cross-Country Skiing Federation, claimed this would be a way for her country to be readmitted to Olympic competitions.

'I think that if we threw some serious bomb in the centre of London, everything would have ended by now, and we'd be allowed everywhere,' she opined, bemoaning that Russia was never loved.

'You know, Russia's struggle with the outside world has been going on for centuries.

'We've never been loved.

'Even when they pretended to let us in everywhere, they still didn't like us.

'As I say, they're always standing with a dagger behind their back.

'I love when the country is strong, and I suppose it's our strength that irritates the whole world.

'So, it's best not to try and guess as to when [our athletes will be allowed back]…

'Now I understand that even after the end of the [war], nothing will happen quickly.'

Her comments were broadly supported by the boxer, who envisaged Britain being sunk into the ocean.

He appeared to be referring to earlier Kiselyov threats to wash away the UK - and neutral Ireland - under a tidal wave caused by Putin's high-speed underwater nuclear drone Poseidon.

'If you imagine that in any of the past six centuries, the British Isles suddenly sank into the ocean, then for the rest of the world, indeed, there would be fewer problems for a certain time,' he said.

But imagining that Britain no longer existed 'others will take the place that becomes vacant', he warned.
