Tekashi 6ix9ine has been arrested for allegedly violating the terms of his release from prison following his conviction on gang crimes.

The rapper was indicted on racketeering charges in 2018 and cut a plea deal.

The rainbow-haired rapper, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, is due to appear in federal court in Manhattan later Tuesday.

The 28-year-old Brooklyn native was released from prison in 2020 and placed on supervised release following his guilty plea to charges of racketeering and conspiracy to commit murder in the case against his gang the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.

The embattled snitch — who testified against the gang at trial and was sentenced to just two years behind bars — was arrested in the Dominican Republic for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend, Yailín la Más Viral, in January.

Tekashi’s lawyers didn’t immediately return a request for comment.
