A casino that will be recognizable to Fallout: New Vegas fans is set to reopen in Primm, Nevada, just weeks after it was set to close for good.
Anyone who has played Fallout: New Vegas is well aware of the town of Primm. It’s one of the first stops on your way to The Strip, and is teaming with both representatives of the New California Republic, as well as inmates that have escaped from a nearby prison.
The Fallout version, naturally, takes inspiration from the real-life town, which has fallen on some hard times over recent years. Primm once had three casinos operating at one time, but that fell to one in 2025 – The Primm Valley Resort.
It is home to Bonnie and Clyde’s car, and serves as the inspiration for the Vikki and Vance Casino in New Vegas.
Primm casino set to stay open
The Primm Valley Resort was set to close for good in May, but has since been rescued by a takeover, and less than three weeks later, is set to reopen.
According to reports, hundreds of employees from Primm Valley Casino and Terrible’s network have “worked around the clock” to get the casino back running.
It will reopen with 422 gaming machines, 250 hotel rooms, a William Hill sportsbook, a sports bar, and a 24-hour quick-bites restaurant. On top of that, customers will also have reward tiers for their visits.

Terrible’s President, Tim Herbst, said that they “believe Primm’s best days are still ahead,” and that there are future plans to keep things ticking over.
With it still being around, plenty of Fallout fans will make a detour there when visiting Las Vegas, just so they can retrace some of their steps from the game.
If that isn’t for you, then Bethesda has confirmed that a Fallout: New Vegas remaster is in the works. However, a release date hasn’t been nailed down.
