It might be third time lucky for some, but Reese Witherspoon has shut down any talk of marriage with her new boyfriend Oliver Haarmann.
The actress, 48, started dating the 57-year-old businessman, who is minority co-owner of the NHL's New York Islanders, earlier this year after hanging out as friends.
But despite 'having fun' with her new love interest, the twice divorced actress sees no reason to say ‘I do’ for a third time.
‘At 48 Reese doesn’t plan to have any more children,’ an insider told DailyMail.com. ‘She’s also independent as hell and certainly doesn’t need a man for his money.
‘The reason she’s told Oliver “no” to marriage is because she doesn’t want him to have false expectations and think this is in their future. Because it definitely isn’t.’
Reese Witherspoon has shut down any talk of marriage with her new boyfriend Oliver Haarmann, insiders have told DailyMail.com (seen in NYC together in September)
Witherspoon, who is worth an estimated $440million, struck up a relationship with Haarmann after hanging out as friends in the wake of her divorce from Jim Toth, 54.
The couple, who share 12-year-old son Tennessee, called it quits in March 2023 after 12 years of marriage.
The actress, who currently stars in the Apple TV+ drama series The Morning Show, was previously married to Ryan Phillippe from 1999 until 2008. They have daughter Ava, 25, and son Deacon, 21.
Haarmann has reportedly been spending time with her two sons, with the actress flying between Nashville and New York to see him.
'Reese is doing great and enjoys dating,' a source told People. 'She's having fun with Oliver. She often flies between Nashville and NYC to see him. He's spending time with her kids too.'
The source added: ‘Reese loves that he's a businessman and not into Hollywood.’
Rumors of a romance first surfaced in July when the new couple took a helicopter ride together into New York City.
The following day they enjoyed a romantic dinner date at L'Artusi restaurant in the West Village.

At that time a source told People that they were just 'friends,' as the Legally Blond actress’ ‘biggest priorities’ were her youngest son and her work.
That same month she spoke candidly about her divorce from Toth, claiming she felt ‘very connected’ after announcing their break up in a joint social media statement back in March.
‘To be able to talk to people directly about what’s going on in my life and just share it in the way that I share great professional experiences or personal experiences,’ she told Harper’s Bazaar. ‘It feels much more authentic to be able to say things in my own voice and not let somebody else control what’s happening.
‘Then, of course, there’s speculation, but I can’t control that. All I can do is be my most honest, forthright self and be vulnerable.’

She continued: ‘I think about how many other people are going through this experience. I don’t feel isolated at all. I feel very connected.’
They have since been pictured at an event for book publisher Assouline and recently enjoyed a dinner with Witherspoon's son Deacon.
Harvard alumni Haarmann was also previously married and shares two children with his ex-wife Mala Gaonkar.
The financier was a former partner at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. Ltd. (KKR), a global investment firm in London. He left in 2010 and became a founding partner at his own private equity firm, Searchlight Capital Partners.
