The 2024 version of President Trump is leaner, meaner, and far more politically savvy than the 2016 version. After going through hell and learning his lessons the hard way, he’s back with a finely-tuned vengeance the Swamp has never seen. The battle has already begun, as President Trump gears up to fill his administration with his picks. Some of these appointees are causing quite a stir, and D.C. is seriously shook—they’re ready to block him at every turn. Sadly, the bad guys recently scored a win when RINO John Thune was elected Senate Majority Leader in a secret vote—a direct slap in the face to the American people.

One former Bush lackey is sweating bullets, terrified that President Trump, who has a MANDATE from the American people, might actually bypass globalist disrupters like him in Congress and push his nominees through. Imagine that—treating politics like a strategic game, with chess moves and clever maneuvers to outsmart your opponents…
Ed Whelan:
Hope it’s wrong, but I’m hearing through the grapevine about this bonkers plan: Trump would adjourn both Houses of Congress under Article II, section 3, and then recess-appoint his Cabinet.
As predicate for Trump’s exercise of adjournment power, one House of Congress would seek other House’s consent to adjourn and be denied. So Speaker of House would need to be complicit in evisceration of Senate’s advice-and-consent role.

Interesting. Whelan also mentions ala "too bad you MAGA deplorables didn't succeed with Rick Scott".
However, wasn't there talk about Vance as president of the Senate?
