Residential buildings, industrial zone attacked in Palmyra, Syria, state media says

Strategic residential buildings and the industrial zone in central Syria's city of Palmyra were struck on Wednesday in an attack attributed to Israel, Syrian state media reported. 

Syrian state media said that there were initial reports of a number of wounded. 

Explosions were heard earlier on Wednesday in the vicinity of Palmyra, the state news agency said.
