The identity of a mystery mogul who purchased a $23 million home in Washington, DC has finally been revealed as tech CEOs flock to be part of President Donald Trump's second term.
DailyMail.com obtained exclusive photos of the sprawling property that is only about 15 minutes from the White House, depending on traffic.
It's in the same neighborhood as Vice President JD Vance's official residence at the Naval Observatory.
A spokesman from Meta confirmed that Mark Zuckerberg is the buyer.
‘Mark and Priscilla have purchased a home in D.C., which will allow Mark to spend more time there as Meta continues the work on policy issues related to American technology leadership,’ Meta said in a statement to Politico.
The home was sold in March to a mysterious LLC formed in Delaware for all cash prompting neighbors to wonder who was the latest big-money mogul planning to move close to Trump.
The sale is the third-most expensive in the history of the city’s real estate market.
Street-view images of the home were blurred on Google Maps and Apple Maps but left up on Microsoft’s Bing search engine.
The property was previously purchased for $5.15 million in 2013 and the home was demolished to make way for the construction of a 15,400 square foot brick mansion.

The new structure was designed by famous local architect Robert M. Gurney.
New walls and fencing were erected to further secure the home which has widespread outdoor spaces for entertainment and fitness, including a basketball court and pool complex.
Zuckerberg’s new house allows the Facebook mogul to stay for extended periods of time in Washington, DC as the entire tech industry vies for the president’s attention.
He was spotted at the White House on Wednesday on the same day that news broke of business mogul Elon Musk’s planned departure from government at the end of May.
That prompted speculation whether Zuckerberg was making his move to get inside Trump’s orbit as the president’s ‘new’ close tech advisor.
For now, however, Zuckerberg has more immediate concerns.
Zuckerberg’s Meta company is facing an antitrust trial in April, as the Federal Trade Commission could break up its ownership of the WhatsApp messaging platform and Instagram.

The best case scenario for Zuckerberg would be to reach a settlement with the administration but Trump could be looking to make an example of the tech company to send a message.
Several major tech moguls have all purchased homes in Washington, DC, to make sure they have a presence in the city as the government plays a significant part in the future of their companies.
Trump's cryptocurrency czar David Sacks swept into the city in January and purchased a $10.3 million residence.
In 2016, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos bought a $23 million property in the city.
Paypal co-founder and tech visionary Peter Theil bought a home in the city for $13 million in 2021.
Former Google executive Eric Schmidt also bought a mansion that once served as a temporary home for President John F. Kennedy’s widow Jaqueline for $15 million in 2024.
Musk, however, is not willing to put down roots in the city, choosing instead to sleep in his office in the Executive Office Building, according to reports.
The billionaire adviser to the president does travel with the president frequently on weekends to his club at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida.
