The left really is having a difficult time coping with Donald Trump's victory in the 2024 elections. Some celebrities have even "moved out" of the country. On Wednesday evening, we learned that comedian and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and her partner Portia de Rossi have moved to rural England. It's not all that it seems, though, because they already owned the home in Great Britain. But they are selling their Montecito, Calif., estate.
Not all celebs who claimed to be worried about a Trump dictatorship are leaving the country, though. Most are just leaving X/Twitter. Over the past couple of weeks, we've seen a fairly steady stream of leftist personalities making a big production of the fact that they're leaving the Elon Musk-owned platform for the latest X-alternatve du jour: Bluesky. Personally, I find this hilarious because I thought the alternative platforms like Mastodon and the Meta-owned Threads were supposed to be the brave new left-wing echo chamber on social media.
The transition hasn't been going well.
Filmmaker, producer, and actor Rob Reiner has made Bluesky his X-alternative of choice. He was hoping to rid himself of opposing viewpoints, and — well, he's finding that Trump supporters aren't making it easy for him to live in a left-wing echo chamber.

I have made the decision to take the next few days to check into a facility for peace and relaxation. No phones, social media , no trolls, just calmness to heal my pain.

Thank you very much and God bless you.
Did Archie have this guy pegged or what?
The media has truly driven many of these people to the looney bin. They were publishing articles for clicks and to get Harris elected, but so many people believed their propaganda and are truly afraid Trump's MAGA terrorists will be knocking on their doors any day now to take them to the camps.
The media should apologize and admit to their viewers their shows have been nothing put political theater and people shouldn't have taken them seriously.

The guy doesn’t own a lake house, or mountain cabin, or a tent for a week of camping?

Is he so used to having staff and servants that he couldn’t find a calm place to camp at or drive a rented motorhome to, not even on many of his rich friend’s epic ranch lands in California and other picturesque states?

Checked himself into a Meathead facility.

Ah, poor meathead, no scripts, no a-list parties, no nothing. Just a poor fat rich liberal no talent looking for some attention. Here’s a guy reportedly worth two-hundred million dollars ( no idea how that happened) and he is so miserable he has to check himself into a “facility”, OR, he could be a “Dumb Diddy Doo”.

Meathead admits he doesn’t even have the willpower to stay off social media on his own, so he’s paying a facility to babysit him.

What is it with these people? I have had candidates win and lose. We go on with our lives. If Kamala won (shudder) I would have worked out plans for that victory garden and an area to raise chickens—well at least the garden...

Wait, he’s reneging on the self-immolation thing? Disappointing.

I can relate to him on a certain level. If kamala won it would not have been as fun to wake up everyday for me. The smugness of woke women would have multiplied. The censorship and open border madness would have been validated. That’s a nightmare.
