Rockstar Games told Kinda Funny that Grand Theft Auto 6 is “extremely tough” to show off because it has “so many cool things” going on.
Back on August 27, Rockstar Games pulled the curtain back on GTA 6 a little more, with an extended look at the game on Netflix. The 30-minute-long preview went away from the usual style of having a narrator talk viewers through different segments; instead, showing off different gameplay loops.
Some players were left disappointed that there was no narration – seeing as they’ve become accustomed to that – while others are still digging through the extended look for details they missed the first time around.
As for why they chose to go that way, Kinda Funny Games’ Andy Cortez noted that Rockstar Games’ Rob Nelson told them that they wanted something that hadn’t been done before.
GTA 6 has “so many cool things” inside
On top of that, Cortez added that Nelson said the new Grand Theft Auto is an “extremely tough game to show off” because Rockstar has “so many cool things” going on in-game.
He also noted that the game “kind of has everything,” too, which players will have to explore throughout their playthroughs.
Cortez’s Kinda Funny co-host, Greg Miller, also discussed some of the features they saw at Rockstar North, including different ways to steal cars – which has also been touched on by other creators.

Speaking to other creators, Nelson noted that GTA 6 will take players around 80 hours to finish – provided they don’t get sucked into other parts of Vice City.
While the focus is on Jason and Lucia, there was almost a world where Rockstar went with four main playable characters, following on from Michael, Franklin, and Trevor in GTA 5.
The highly anticipated title is still slated for its November 19 release, with players anticipating more reveals before then. By the sound of things, it is going to take quite a few new deepdives.
