Rockstar Games have broken their silence on the third trailer and gameplay reveal for GTA 6, confirming that fans will get another look at things via a special on Netflix.

The Grand Theft Auto community has been on tenterhooks, waiting for Rockstar Games to drop any sort of gameplay from GTA 6. While gameplay scenes have been used in previous trailers, we don’t have any idea about what the new HUD will look like, or how Jason and Lucia will interact with NPCs.

Many have pointed to trailer three as having the answers on that front, especially after Take-Two boss Strauss Zelnick confirmed that a marketing push would begin over the summer.

After confirming the price for GTA 6 and opening the pre-order period, Rockstar have now confirmed an “extended look” at all things Grand Theft Auto 6 will come on August 27.

GTA 6 reveal on Netflix coming soon

That’s right, it appears as if August 27 will have the answers that everyone is waiting for on the gameplay front, as Rockstar is teaming up with Netflix for an “extended look” at the new game.

It was announced on August 6, with players hoping that the new trailer would drop ahead of Take-Two’s earnings call on August 7.

Netflix users will be able to watch this new extended look at GTA 6 come 3 pm ET/8 pm BST/12 pm PT/9 pm CST on the 27th, with the reveal also coming to YouTube a few hours later.

It ultimately remains to be seen as to what this extended look will entail, but it is also a new move from Rockstar.

Previously, they’ve kept all the reveals to themselves, posting on their own social channels, but incorporating Netflix has raised some eyebrows already.

The streaming service has gotten into the gaming world, hosting some popular titles for subscribers, including the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition.
