The folks over at RFK just ratcheted things up!
In 2025, Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing will be expanding by fielding a third car in the Cup Series. The car will be a No. 60 Ford, and will be driven by Ryan Preece. (RELATED: We May Have Found Out Why The Mike Tyson-Jake Paul Fight Was So Crappy)
RFK Racing made the announcement Tuesday that Preece will be teamed up with Brad Keselowski and Chris Buescher in their three-car lineup. The primary sponsor for Preece’s car will be Kroger.
“We’re thrilled to formally and publicly announce our expansion plans and the next step in our evolution at RFK,” stated president of RFK Racing, Steve Newmark. “Ryan Preece is who we identified from Day 1 when discussing this third entry, and his young talent from the grassroots level all the way up to the Cup Series is something that excites us moving forward.”
It’s been a long time coming. 😏🛒

I like the fact that RFK Racing is expanding to a third team — expansion is always a beautiful thing — but I’m intrigued by this situation because of a possible flip side (meaning it could go bad).
Last season, Keselowski and Buescher made the playoffs, while Preece has never won a race in 187 career starts in the Cup Series. Am I missing something about Preece that RFK is seeing?
You better believe I’ll have my eyes on RFK in 2025.
