Ryanair confirms new routes from UK airports to 'sunny' holiday hotspots and 'Europe's most beautiful cities'

Ryanair has announced a major expansion of its route network for Summer 2025, offering UK travellers more affordable options to explore Europe.

The budget airline is adding numerous new destinations across multiple UK airports including East Midlands, Liverpool, Leeds Bradford, Norwich, Bristol and Scottish airports.


The expansion will connect British holidaymakers with popular European destinations such as Budapest, Toulouse, Krakow, Madeira and Malta.

This significant growth in Ryanair's UK operations aims to increase connectivity whilst maintaining the carrier's commitment to low-cost travel.

The new routes form part of the airline's strategy to strengthen its position as Europe's leading budget carrier.

East Midlands Airport will see a "significant increase in routes" according to Ryanair, though specific destinations have not yet been announced.

Liverpool will gain a direct connection to Budapest, Hungary, offering travellers an affordable way to visit the historic European capital.

"We are excited to announce this new route from Liverpool to Budapest for Summer 2025, giving our passengers a convenient, affordable way to visit one of Europe's most beautiful cities," Ryanair stated.

Leeds Bradford Airport customers will benefit from new flights to "sunny Mediterranean destinations" as part of the expansion.

The airline said Leeds Bradford customers "will be delighted with our expanded route offerings for Summer 2025." Norwich Airport will also see additional international routes as part of Ryanair's expansion plans.

The airline stated: "With new routes from Norwich for Summer 2025, Ryanair is committed to providing greater connectivity for our passengers, offering them more destinations at affordable prices."

Bristol travellers will gain a direct connection to Toulouse in southern France.

These routes will operate from airports including Edinburgh and Glasgow. This comes just weeks after the airline confirmed more routes from Scotland and East Midlands airports.
