Microsoft announced today that the price of all Xbox models will rise in August, the second time in less than a year as memory prices continue to wreak havoc on every industry from cars to computing. Thankfully, we’re already out looking for Prime Day deals, and we were able to find some discounts on both the Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X ahead of the price hikes.

$573

The Xbox Series X is Microsoft’s flagship console, serving as its most powerful (and biggest) option focused on fast, 4K gameplay. Read our review.

The 1TB Xbox Series X is discounted to $573 and $573.99 at Walmart and Target respectively, a significant reduction from the usual $649.99 price point. This is the model with a built-in 4K Blu-ray player that will go up to $799.99 in just over a month — and it’s what I’d recommend if you’re shopping for a new console to play GTA VI on later this year.

$350

The Xbox Series S is smaller than the 4K-capable Xbox Series X, but it can still play the same digital games — albeit topping out at 2560 x 1440 QHD resolution. Read our review.

If you’re just looking for the disc-free Xbox Series S, which is usually $399.99 but will rise to $499.99 in August, Dell has the 512GB model on sale for $349.99, which is the current best deal. Target isn’t far behind, with the same console listed for $379.99, which may be worth it if you want to pick it up locally or have other discounts at Target like the Circle Card.
