Scorpion boss location in Fortnite & how to get Kombat Kit

If you’re a Mortal Kombat fan, you’re in for a treat, as Scorpion has entered Fortnite, and you can battle him to claim his powerful Kombat Kit and the First Blood Medallion.

The latest Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 update has brought players a bit closer to Mortal Kombat with the addition of an iconic character.

Whether you’re looking to dominate close-range fights or just want to test your skills against one of the most iconic fighters in the history of video games, here’s all you need to know about Scorpion, including how to track, defeat, and reap his rewards.

Where to find Scorpion

Scorpion can spawn in one of three locations: The Pit, The Dead Pool, or The Living Forest.

However, his most common spawn point is The Pit, which is found east of Shining Span.

To locate him, check your map for an icon of Scorpion’s face – this marks his exact location. If you see the First Blood Medallion icon instead, that means Scorpion has already been defeated in that match.

Once you arrive at Scorpion’s location, look for a Mortal Kombat-themed gong. Interact with it to summon him, but be prepared for a tough fight. Scorpion relies on melee attacks and his signature spear move, which pulls players toward him.

How to get Scorpion’s Kombat Kit

Scorpion’s Kombat Kit comes in two versions:

• Mythic Version: You can obtain it by defeating Scorpion or looting it from another player who has it. This golden-glowing weapon includes devastating melee abilities, including Scorpion’s signature spear attack to pull enemies in.
• Standard Version: This can be found as ground loot, in loot chests, or from downed enemies. It’s slightly weaker than the Mythic version, but it’s still a great tool for close combat. It has a purple rarity.

Both versions are fantastic for chaining combos and dominating close-quarters encounters.

First Blood Medallion Effects

Defeating Scorpion also rewards you with the First Blood Medallion. This item gives your first shot after reloading an explosive effect, dealing extra damage on impact.

However, if you miss the first shot, you’ll need to reload again to trigger the effect.

This medallion works best with powerful single-shot weapons like the Sentinel Pump or Mammoth Pistol, while automatic weapons won’t benefit as much due to their rapid-fire rate.
