When you’re ready, come and get it.

Selena Gomez delighted fans Wednesday by teasing that she is working on new music just weeks after proclaiming she was “too old for the pop star life.”

In the brief video on her Instagram Story, the “Only Murders in the Building” star, 32, sat at a desk while wearing a white tank top and black headphones as a snippet of a song played on her computer.

She then turned the camera to the screen, which she obscured with a large red heart emoji.

The clip ended with Gomez turning the camera back to her face as she smiled broadly but said nothing.

Her fiancé, Benny Blanco, also recently hinted that the “Love On” singer has been working on some new tunes.

In a TikTok video shared last week, the music producer, 36, responded to a fan who begged, “Benny please make some new songs for our queen.”

The clip showed Blanco opening a door to find Gomez curled up on a sofa as she sat behind a professional recording studio microphone.

“SELENA GOMEZ IS BACK,” one fan declared in the comments section of the TikTok post.

“SELENA RECORDING NEW MUSIC??? BENNY I LOVE YOU SO MUCH,” another wrote.

The surprising career update comes after the “Emilia Pérez” star spoke about her music catalog in a Dec. 11 chat with Saoirse Ronan for Variety’s “Actors on Actors” series.

“I definitely think my strong suit is probably acting,” she explained at the time. “But one thing I’m proud of in music is being able to tell a story — my favorite songs are mostly ballads, and they’re very transparent and honest.”

Gomez added, “But I think I might be a little too old for the pop star life. I’m genuinely so happy to just be in this new era of my life, because in a lot of ways, it’s just the beginning.”

The former Disney star’s new era also includes an engagement to Blanco, which they announced via Instagram last month.

“forever begins now,” Gomez captioned a carousel of photos showing off her marquise engagement ring.

The couple went public with their romance in December 2023, but the actress confessed at the time that they had already been secretly dating for six months at that point.

Gomez’s most recent album, “Rare,” was released in January 2020, but she has since dropped standalone songs, including “Single Soon.”
