Shocking bodycam footage captured the moment a central Florida couple attacked a school resource deputy after an argument over their 11-year-old son.

Jorge Rivera, 46, and his wife, Dagmarie Aponte Iturrino, 45, were arrested on Tuesday after she pushed the deputy and he punched her in the face, according to police.

Video of the incident begins with the parents having an increasingly tense discussion with deputy Julia Curtin at Deltona Middle School.

Rivera, a former Corrections and Detention Specialist in the Army soldier, became furious after Curtin told the parents that another student wouldn’t face charges for throwing a shoe at their son, claiming he was the primary aggressor.

'You failed a kid. You’re failing kids right here. We’re not talking about us because believe me if it were about the adults we could solve this a whole different level,' Rivera said as he became agitated.

'Why are you so worthless? Do you feel proud that you are this worthless lady?' he added.

Deputy Curtin then asked the couple to leave and ushered them to a hallway, where things became physical.

Footage shows Aponte placing herself between Rivera and the deputy before she pushes the deputy, who then reaches for her taser and falls backwards.

During the struggle, Rivera punched the deputy in the face, causing a concussion, and then took her taser, according to bodycam video released by the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office.

Curtin then got back on her feet, grabbed her gun and yelled: 'Put it down right f***ing now! Put your hands behind your [expletive] back right now.'

The couple were arrested and bonded out of jail Wednesday night.

They were charged with battery on a law enforcement agent and armed robbery, among other charges, because Rivera took the deputy’s taser weapon after she had been knocked to the ground.

The Volusia Sheriff's office has shared images of the couple being moved to jail after their arrest

The district told DailyMail.com on Thursday that she has been suspended 'placed on leave and will have no contact with students while the investigation is ongoing.'

'To say, "I’m furious," is beyond,' Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood said at a news conference.

'There’s no reason I have a deputy with a concussion for something so trivial.'

Aponte, meanwhile, has shared several quotes on her Facebook following her arrest.

One reads: 'A one-sided story often has a torn page. The page that you miss reading usually has the real truth.'
