A father threw his eight-month-old son against a wall during a fit brought on by an NBA videogame.
Jalin White, 20, admitted to the act last week, in the wake of his child abuse arrest.
The now-hospitalized youngster is not expected to live, meaning White may soon be charged with homicide.
What predated the fit of rage made it even more disturbing - with cops revealing it was a game of 2K that set him off.
Down two points in the fourth quarter, the defendant became frustrated while holding the baby, a criminal plaint states - describing how the dad ultimately ended up hurling the victim against the wall.
He had been in charge of the child only identified by his initials while the boy's mother was out, cops in Milwaukee confirmed.
After his outburst, the boy was left with several fractured ribs, a skull fracture, and a broken collarbone. He also suffered a swollen eye and hand and leg injuries.
Moreover, the child bore signs he had been abused already, bearing various injuries in different stages of healing, cops said - as he continues to cling to life.

It happened at this home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where the suspect was left in charge of the eight-month-old when the boy's mother left the house
'This is a severe level of violence for an innocent infant child,' ADA Madeline Witte of the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office said of the case over the weekend.
'[The victim has] multiple injuries indicating that the victim had been abused multiple ways over some time,' she added, pointing to the six posterior rib fractures all in different stages of healing, as well as the fractured left clavicle.
Milwaukee County Court Commissioner Andrea Bolender added: 'The medical personnel have indicated that, sadly, this child is not expected to live.
'[This] would increase these charges to a homicide.'
As of writing, White is facing 62-and-a-half years in prison - following an appearance in court this past Saturday.
The suspect's first, it saw prosecutors detail the extent of the abuse, while revealing stories aired by the suspect after hospital workers who saw the child when he was brought in called police.
At first, he blamed the baby's mother, officials said - recalling how the man first said the injuries were from the mom bumping the baby's head on a door frame.
He then insisted the baby fell during a diaper change, before claiming he merely dropped the baby while playing video games.

The boy's mother was arrested as well, and she released when White finally owned up to the crime.
His admission of guilt, according to the complaint, went as follows: 'My son hit his head on the wall. He hit his head hard on the wall, bro. I swear he hit his head hard on the wall.
'I heard the wall, it was hard on his head,' he continued. 'It was hard. It was a loud hard wall. I heard the impact of the wall after I tossed him.'
A few days later, in court, White cried when he heard the boy will likely die - seen shaking his head and wiping tears from his face.
Earlier this week, Milwaukee police said the child was still alive.
