A Florida suspect accused of sexually assaulting an employee inside of a vape shop was caught in the act on surveillance footage.
Tyrone Armbrister, 30, purchased two cigarettes from the Red Eye Smoke Shop in Miami Springs earlier this month before he quickly returned shirtless and proceeded to drag the young female worker to the back of the store to sexually assault her - leading her to beat him with a toilet plunger in an attempt to fight back.
But on Sunday afternoon in a shocking twist, Armbrister turned himself in to the Miami Gardens Police and apologized - ending the hunt for him following the terrifying incident.
'My sincere apology. I hope that she's okay,' Armbrister said as he walked out of the police department in handcuffs. 'I made a mistake by probably drinking too much and that's the part where I slipped up. I allowed something to be put in my drink, not paying attention.'
The horrifying footage showed Armbrister aggressively grabbing the young worker after she denied his proposal to pay $100 for sex while she screamed for help and ordered him to get away.
He then took her into a back room of the store where he put his shirt over her face to commit the heinous act.
'He was trying, once again, like I said, touching my (expletive), trying to pull my pants off, and I was just asking him not to do it, please not to do anything to me, and fighting back,' the woman told NBC6.
The suspect claimed that he was shocked by what he did after his friend showed him the video footage of the assault.
'I came back because someone has to take responsibility,' he said.
He is now facing several charges, including sexual battery with no serious personal injury, false imprisonment and burglary with assault or battery.
