‘Shogun,’ ‘The Bear,’ ‘The Penguin’ Lead DGA Awards 2025 TV Nominations

The Directors Guild of America has named the nominees for its 2024 awards in the outstanding directorial achievement in television, commercials and documentary categories. “Shogun,” “The Bear” and “The Penguin” all lead with three nominations each.

The winners will be announced at the 77th Annual DGA Awards on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, CA.

Nominees for film and the Michael Apted award for first-time theatrical feature film will be announced on Wednesday, Jan. 8. Here are this year’s TV nominees:
