A Temu shopper has revealed how buyers can receive money back in credits after purchasing products on the online marketplace.
Raquel (@raquelriskin) explained how to go about claiming the credits in a TikTok video she posted on December 1.
Several people confirmed the success they had had with the Canada-based TikToker's 'lifehack' and one person claimed they received $70 in Temu credits after following the directions.
The first step is to go to your list of previous orders and customers should then selecta specific order.
Shoppers who spot a price adjustment can then select 'Request a price adjustment' and see the words 'Price adjustment refund issued.'
'Nine times out of 10, things will have gone down in price and they will give you a Temu credit. You're welcome,' Raquel said.
Despite the little-know process, Temu already had a policy in place explaining how customers can get additional credits through price adjustments.

Several TikTok users supported Raquel's explanation and claimed they received Temu credits after following her directions
Raquel's hack is based off of Temu's price adjustment policy, which can be applied to select products.
'At Temu, we offer a 30-day price adjustment guarantee,' a Temu spokesperson told DailyMail.com.
'If the price of an item drops within 30 days of purchase, we'll refund the difference, giving customers peace of mind that they're getting the best deal every time they shop with us.'
'The process is straightforward: customers can go to "Your Orders" in the app, select the relevant order, and click the "Price Adjustment" button,' the spokesperson added.
Things like size, color, and purchase location will be factors in the amount of Temu credits.
The shipment will also not be affected if a shopper applies for a price adjustment before the products arrive.
'Fees, including but not limited to shipping fees, will be excluded for any price adjustment calculation,' the company explained on its website.
'Temu reserves the right to the final interpretation of our Price Adjustment Policy, the right to modify the terms of this Policy at any time, and the right to deny any price adjustment at our sole discretion.'
The online marketplace added that promotional or clearance items and products no longer available may not be eligible for the policy

'Like Shein, Temu’s success raises flags about its business practices,' Nicholas Kaufman, a policy analyst for the US-China Economic and Security Review Commission said in a 2023 issue brief.
Michael Felice, an associate partner in Kearney’s communications, media and technology practice insisted 'transparency and traceability' of products are also important.
