This is the 'sickening' moment a masked mob launched a frenzied attack on a transgender girl at a roller skating party in revenge for her lying about her gender identity before performing a sex act on a boy.

The 18-year-old aspiring model, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was lured to a roller disco where the gang screamed 'tranny' as they punched, kicked and stamped on her after she was knifed nine times by ringleader Summer Betts-Ramsey.

In distressing CCTV released by the Met Police today, the hooded gang wearing masks and gloves can be seen lying in wait, dancing in excitement in a car park as the smiling unsuspecting victim approaches.

Just seconds after arriving, the victim is punched in the face and the head with such force that she is thrown to the ground where the mob proceed to unleash blow after blow on her with 'great excitement'.

The victim was kicked at least seven times by Betts-Ramsey before the 19-year-old pulled out a knife at Harrow Leisure Centre, in north-west London, on February 10 last year.

While the girl lay helpless, Betts-Ramsey lunged at her 14 times, repeatedly knifing her in the nose, thigh, hand, and buttocks.

In an orgy of violence, which was filmed and plotted on Snapchat, all five teenagers piled in after she was punched to the floor, kicking, stabbing and stamping on her while she lay curled up in a ball.

The mob, unmasked for the first time at their sentencing hearing today, also senselessly beat her with a pair of roller skates and boots before snatching her handbag and fleeing, leaving the victim in a pool of blood.

The victim only survived the attack after a member of the public intervened to stop Betts-Ramsey stamping on her head and called an ambulance.

'I have watched the CCTV footage of the attack more than once, it's sickening to watch,' Judge Philip Katz, KC, said as the teenage mob were locked up today.

The Met Police has released bodycam footage of Betts-Ramsey being arrested at her home

The Met also released bodycam footage of Betts-Ramsey being arrested at her home the day after the brutal attack.

Appearing at the Old Bailey today, Betts-Ramsey was sentenced alongside 18-year-olds Bradley Harris, Camron Osei and Shiloh Hindedas, and a 17-year-old boy, who cannot be named, after all admitted causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

Betts-Ramsey will serve at least four-and-half years in a young offender's institution, with an extended sentence of four years on licence after she was deemed a 'dangerous offender'.

The judge added: 'Her gloating in the aftermath of the attack was shamelessly hateful and dehumanising.'

A woman believed to be a relative of Betts-Ramsey yelled 'people kill and get less' from the public gallery.

Meanwhile, Harris, Hindes and Osei have all been locked up for three years in a young offender's institution. The 17-year-old boy was handed an 18-month youth rehabilitation order and will be electronically tagged for three months.

A sixth girl who admitted robbery by taking the victim's bag will be sentenced later today.

Betts-Ramsey, who lived in a children's home, also admitted possession of an offensive weapon.

The trial heard how Harris plotted the attack when the victim denied she was transgender before kissing him and performing an oral sex act days earlier.

Unbeknownst to the victim, Harris recorded the sexual encounter on January 29 on a Facetime video call.

A friend then phoned Harris to tell him that the victim was transgender, which she admitted only after Harris held her at knifepoint saying 'I'll stab you if you lie'.

The victim later apologised, but Harris was already meticulously planning a savage revenge attack.

Hours before the attack, Betts-Ramsey was heard on the phone saying: 'I have to go to Harrow to beat up a f-ing tranny bro.'

The knife-obsessed 19-year-old decided to bring one of the blades she had had delivered to the children's home where she lived.

Judge Katz said: 'The victim was viciously assaulted by five young persons each intending for her to be caused really serious injury. She was kicked and punched to the ground, they then continued to punch her, and she was stabbed repeatedly.

'At the time of the attack she presented no threat to anyone, she did nothing to provoke the attack or to justify it in any way - unknown to [the victim] this was a planned and premeditated attack.

'Kicking and stamping on someone when they are defenseless on the ground is abhorrent, consistently we hear in these courts about attacks of this nature which have led to death.'

The judge was asked to take into account peer pressure but said 'I struggle to see any' as he believed the attack was carried out 'with general excitement'.

Judge Katz said: 'I have watched the CCTV footage of the attack more than once, it's sickening to watch.

'Her gloating in the aftermath of the attack was shamelessly hateful and dehumanising.

'People acting in groups often perform acts they would not do alone.'

Betts-Ramsey was obsessed with knives and would have them delivered to the children's home where she lived.

'Betts-Ramsey was recruited to lead the attack, her lifestyle at that time and her previous convictions for violence explain why,' the judge added.

The judge said the group were motivated ‘by a distorted version of revenge’, describing the Snapchat planning of the attack as ‘poisonous’.

Prosecutor Deena Heer, KC, earlier said: 'This was a planned attack, motivated at least in part by her transgender identity.

'During the assault she was punched, kicked, stamped on and stabbed, and suffered nine stab wounds.'

On February 10, the victim was lured to a roller skating party with the group, a court heard.

The group, dressed in dark clothing with masks and hoods, were waiting for her at a bus stop.

But once they reached a nearby car park, the girl was 'immediately attacked'. Betts-Ramsey lunged at the woman on the ground with a knife at least 14 times.

Other members of the trans-hating mob attacked her for about 45 seconds before some fled.

Afterwards Betts-Ramsey, now 20, boasted about the stabbing, posting a story on Snapchat with footage from the attack and laughing emojis, telling friends: 'I'm going jail… bro I stabbed her 12 times.'

Others taunted the victim sending messages saying: 'Ur looking sweet.'

In a moving victim impact statement, the transgender girl said she has suffered panic attacks, struggles to sleep, and fears she might not be able to work as a model due to her injuries.

'I have become depressed and am always in fear leaving the house,' she said.

'I am constantly in fear of being assaulted again. I feel at times this is taking over my life.

'The incident has resulted in thick scars on my body which saddens me every time I see them- I feel like I am the one living a life sentence due to them.

'In the past I have experienced animosity towards me being transgender but I never thought anyone would have so much hatred for me and want to assault me in the way they did.'

Betts-Ramsey was subject to a community order at the time of the stabbing after being convicted of robbery and battery.

The court was told that the defendants have all apologised since the attack.
