Sir Elton John, 77, has revealed he has been “floored” by further health struggles as ailments mount for the music icon.
Due to his declining health, John was forced to call an end to touring with his Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour in 2023.
Headlining the Glastonbury music festival and an emotional final farewell in Stockholm, Sweden were the crowning moments of the 330-date tour.
In recent years, John has undergone surgery for prostate cancer and knee and hip replacements.
The 77-year-old also still battles type 2 diabetes which has forced him to undertake a radical new diet regime.
Adding to his woes, a serious and stubborn eye infection is hampering the Rocket Man hit-maker.

John revealed in September he had picked up the infection over the Summer and was “recovering slowly”.
However, the music legend’s recuperation has stalled.
“It’s been four months now since I haven’t been able to see, and my left eye is not the greatest,” he revealed.
The I’m Still Standing hit-maker admitted: “It kind of floored me. And I can’t see anything, I can’t read anything, can’t watch anything."

Speaking to ABC's Good Morning America, John explained: "It’s been a while since I’ve done anything.”
He described himself “as kind of stuck at the moment".
The pop icon clarified he was still able to do public appearances like interviews but was seriously struggling to produce music.
“Going into the studio and recording, I don’t know, because I can’t see a lyric for a start,” he conceded.
Worst of all, John revealed his condition has forced him to prolong the release of a new album produced with his career-long collaborator, Bernie Taupin.
The star expressed his determination to get back to music, declaring: "We’re taking initiative to try and get it better, but at the moment that’s really what we’re concentrating on."
Despite has ailments, John was able to attend the opening night show of his Broadway musical, Tammy Faye, recently.
The new musical, which was composed by John with Jake Shears, tells the story of televangelist Tamara Faye Messner - adapted from a book by James Graham.
