Since its release in October, “Smile 2” became a big box office hit taking in nearly $132 million at the worldwide box office. And in case you missed it in theaters, the horror sequel is now streamable at home.
“Smile 2” is available to watch in 4K Ultra HD on Prime Video, Apple TV and other video-on-demand platforms. You can rent the film on sale for $19.99, or buy it digitally for $24.99.
In addition, “Smile 2” is set for release on DVD and 4K Ultra HD Steelbook on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025 with prices starting at $19.96 on Amazon.
As for the film itself, Variety’s film critic Owen Gleiberman called “Smile 2,” “a horror film that strives to create a genuine emotional center,” in his review.
Directed by Parker Finn, “Smile 2” follows Skye Riley (Naomi Scott), a pop star on the verge of a world tour. However, before the tour kicks off, a mysterious and horrific entity consumes her into madness, as it reveals itself to her through creepy smiling faces in her friends and family.
The sequel film also stars Rosemarie DeWitt, Lukas Gage, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Peter Jacobson, Ray Nicholson, Dylan Gelula, Raúl Castillo, Kyle Gallner and others.
Meanwhile, if you want to watch the first “Smile” movie, which was released in 2022 and stars Sosie Bacon, it’s streaming on Hulu and Paramount+ for subscribers only. The horror film is also available on DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD disc starting at $12.79 on Amazon.
