Socialite Lara Cosima Henckel von Donnersmarck secretly welcomes baby boy with Gucci heir husband

German-American socialite Lara Cosima Henckel von Donnersmarck has revealed that she secretly welcomed a baby with her Gucci heir 'husband' François Pinault Jr.

Cosima Henckel von Donnersmarck, 23, who is the daughter of an acclaimed Hollywood filmmaker and the descendant of one of the most prestigious families in Germany, shared the news via Instagram on Wednesday.

She announced that she had given birth to a baby boy, named François after his father, one month ago.

She posted an array of photos that showed her and Pinault cuddling their baby boy, writing: 'My husband (the world’s coolest François) and our son (the world’s cutest François)… our first month as parents.'

One image showed her and the infant laying on a blanket outside in the grass, while another featured her cradling him in her arms as she sat on some steps in front of a house.

A third image featured Pinault holding their son and feeding him a bottle as he sat on a red couch and stared at the camera.

Other shots featured Pinault changing the baby's diaper on a private jet and Cosima Henckel von Donnersmarck staring lovingly down at her son as he rested in her lap.

The couple announced that they were engaged back in March, with her writing in an Instagram post at the time: 'Got engaged to my best friend and the coolest boy in the world.'

They have not publicly shared any wedding news since then, but Cosima Henckel von Donnersmarck notably referred to Pinault as her 'husband' in her latest post, hinting that they also tied the knot in secret. 

Pinault is the son of Francois-Henri Pinault, the billionaire French businessman who co-owns Kering, the luxury group comprising Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen and Gucci, among others.  

Cosima Henckel von Donnersmarck's father, Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck, is a German Count who hails from a 'family who were central figures of the second Industrial Revolution,' according to Hello magazine. 

Her father is also a wildly successful director, whose most notable films include the romantic thriller The Tourist (which starred Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp), Das Leben der Anderen (which earned him the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film) and Never Look Away (which received two Oscar nominations). 

Cosima Henckel von Donnersmarck's mother, Christiane Asschenfeldt, is a prominent lawyer and also serves as the international executive director of the non-profit organization Creative Commons. 

Her grandfather, Leo-Ferdinand Henckel von Donnersmarck, is the former president of the German division of the Order of Malta – but Cosima Henckel von Donnersmarck has insisted that her wealth comes from her father's work and not her ancestors. 

Fashion student Cosima Henckel von Donnersmarck charmed high society back in 2023 at the Le Bal des Débutantes.

She quickly became a social media sensation by flaunting her lavish globe-trotting life online – prompting many to compare her to a real-life Gossip Girl. 

The Parsons School of Design student previously landed a coveted internship at Dior's haute couture division in Paris, France, and has attended some of the most prestigious runway shows as a guest and model. 

She divides her time between Manhattan and Paris, but she often jets off on exquisite vacations to places like London, Milan and Aruba. 

She has racked up more than one million followers and 41 million likes across her TikTok videos. 

She often posted 'Day in the life' and 'Get ready with me' clips that show her trying on various designer looks in her stunning Paris apartment and visiting some of the most sought after restaurants and social clubs throughout the City of Light. 

However, she stopped posting regularly in mid-February, likely in an attempt to keep her pregnancy hidden.
