I'm an occasional lurker at the DUmp, trying to catch a whiff of the putrid attitudes and convos in that deranged bunch. Recently, the site returns this message on their home page:

Democratic Underground is currently open to Star members only

They give some excuse about some technical error, but I've seen this operation before and they usually are just trying to hide a civil war raging among members. Not a good look. (A great look for us.)

DU often locks out everyone when they are having an embarrassing meltdown. It is their retreat to a safe space. They locked down when Pedo Biden malfunctioned at the debate.

I've seen it a couple times during election cycles when they're losing the election and their minds.

Or.....maybe they are just having technical issues....not everything is a nefarious conspiracy. Lol!

I've seen this operation before and they usually are just trying to hide a civil war raging among members. They're probably trying to hide their plans for their next escalation of the civil war against the US which they've been helping to coordinate since Zero was occupying the White House.

The Civil War theory doesn’t make sense for yesterday and today, there isn’t much of anything to fight about and everyone is in a sort of hold pattern while waiting for Tuesday, passions are on hold until the results are in.
