Soul Sisters, a concert of female soul and pop voices, returns to Cape Town, South Africa, on Saturday 3 October 2026. The venue is the Grand Arena at GrandWest, and the show starts at 8 p.m.

Soul Sisters Cape Town 2026: One Night at the Grand Arena

The concert is a single evening at the Grand Arena, the large indoor hall inside the GrandWest complex. GrandWest, run by the hotel and casino group Sun International, lists the start as 20h00.

The billing describes an all-Cape Town female line-up, backed by a live band. Radio partner Smile FM calls it “one stage, one night, all the soul”.

The Eight Singers on the Bill

The venue lists eight performers: Salomé, René Johnson, Leonie le Roux, Karin Kortje, Sasha-Lee Davids, Carletheia, Jody Williams and Andrea Fortuin. Each is a familiar name on the local circuit.

Karin Kortje is the best known nationally. She won the third season of the television contest Idols in 2005, taking 65 per cent of the final vote.

Salomé makes her Soul Sisters debut this year and told the Daily Voice it “will feel like a reunion”. Andrea Fortuin, a returning performer, spoke of the value of women supporting one another on stage.

Carletheia, born Carla Trout, grew up in Athlone, Cape Town, and began singing in church choirs at about five. She also completed a teaching degree through UNISA in 2022.

What Tickets Cost

Tickets are sold through Ticketmaster South Africa. The organisers’ publicity, repeated by the Daily Voice, gives a starting price of R190 (about US$12).

GrandWest’s event page quotes tickets from R195 (about US$12) per person. Conversions here use 16.30 rand to the US dollar, the rate on 27 September 2026.

GrandWest and Getting to Goodwood

GrandWest stands in Goodwood, in Cape Town’s northern suburbs, away from the city bowl and the Atlantic seaboard. The complex combines a casino, hotels, restaurants and the Grand Arena under one roof.

Most visitors arrive by car or with a ride-hailing app such as Uber or Bolt. Anyone staying in the city centre or Sea Point should plan the trip home before the show starts.

Practical Tips for Visitors and New Arrivals

Buy only through Ticketmaster or GrandWest itself. The venue says tickets from Viagogo and other secondary resellers are fraudulent, and holders will be turned away without a refund.

The concert is closed to children under 12. The casino floor has its own rule, as gambling in South Africa is limited to those aged 18 and over.

No doors time, running order or finishing time had been published by 27 September 2026. The band leader and the song list have not been named either.

One August radio listing named a singer called Talitha instead of Leonie le Roux. The venue page, the organisers’ release and the Daily Voice all list Leonie le Roux.

Soul Sisters Cape Town returns to the Grand Arena a year after its last edition. The 2025 show, on 27 September, was headlined by Judy Boucher and Robin S.
