Coffee enthusiasts can head on over to a Starbucks in the US to receive a free 16-ounce reusable red cup in honor of Red Cup Day.
Participating Starbucks locations nationwide are handing out the free limited-edition cups 'while supplies last' today.
Customers will receive the red reusable cup when they order handcrafted beverages of any size from the holiday menu.
These holiday-themed Starbucks beverages can be hot, iced, or blended.
Starbucks' long-awaited annual promotion arrived just one week after the coffeehouse chain debuted its 2024 holiday cups.
Red Cup Day only happens once a year, and even though it's only hours into the deal, many customers have already claimed some Starbucks locations were 'packed' and 'ultra scary.'
Several X users have also posted pictures of their new Starbucks red cups today.
'The holiday season has officially begun! Happy Red Cup Day at Starbucks,' an X user tweeted while listening to Mariah Carey's Christmas hit 'All I Want for Christmas Is You'.

Another person wrote: 'Does my daughter get up at 4:30 am on Red Cup Day every year to go to @Starbucks, why yes we do…do we actually use the cups, no but mind your business it's what we do!'
Others were nervous about the day and slightly scared for Starbucks employees' well-being given the high demand and potentially rabid customers.
'Good morning! Thoughts and prayers go out to all of the sbux baristas who will be facing the masses of unhinged customers fighting for their free plastic red cup today. Today is a special kind of hell,' an X user tweeted.
A few X users praised the red cup design and thought it was 'so cute.'
However, multiple customers didn't think the holiday cups were worth waiting in line for.
A Starbucks customer tweeted directly to the company that ''your red cup day is not your best logistics day. No notice that mobile orders are taking 30 minutes plus.
'No ability to cancel the order on the app. No ability for the store to cancel. Pretty disappointing,' they added.
'Before I forget. . . I HATE RED CUP DAY. It should be paid time and a half cause people are ruthless,' another X user wrote.

Various X users have been sharing their opinions and photos of the limited-edition red reusable Starbucks cup they purchased
The 2024 reusable cup is made with 95 percent of recycled material, according to a Starbucks news release.
Customers can order in a store, at the drive-thru, on the Starbucks app, or through Starbucks Delivery.
Any customer who decides to order through the Starbucks app won't have to pay a delivery fee.
Starbucks customers can also bring in a clean reusable cup to a participating US location to receive a 10-cent discount.
Starbucks Rewards members can earn 25 bonus Stars if they order through the coffeehouse chain's app.
The company's personal reusable cup will help Starbucks reduce waste by 50 percent by 2030, according to the company's news release.
Because Starbucks' reusable red cups are limited edition, participating locations will not restock the items once they're sold out.
Starbucks customers who can't snag the limited edition item today can purchase a Warm Wishes, Joyful Connection, Lyrical Landscape or Siren Chorus holiday cup instead.
Social media users claimed Starbucks stores were 'packed' and lines were 'ultra scary'
The holiday menu and limited edition cups usually help increase Starbucks' yearly revenue.
However, the coffeehouse chain has suffered sale slumps multiple times over the past two years.
Starbucks confirmed in its 2024 fiscal fourth quarter report that sales in its North American locations declined by 6 percent.
Its net revenue in North America also decreased by 3 percent compared to last year's results, primarily because of its decline in store sales.
The results came after Starbucks started decreasing the amount of promotions and discounts so the company could get its revenue back on track.
'My experience tells me that when we get back to our core identity and consistently deliver a great experience, our customers will come back,' Starbucks chairman and CEO Brian Niccol said in the report.
'We have a clear plan and are moving quickly to return Starbucks to growth.'
Starbucks CFO Rachel Ruggeri noted that the quarter results 'do not reflect' the brand's strength and that she's confident the coffeehouse chain will turn around and 'return to long-term growth.'
