Steven Tyler is ready to hit the high notes.
A source told Page Six on Monday that the Aerosmith frontman’s vocal cords are in “great” shape as the legendary rock band gears up for two nights at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles — their first full shows since scrapping their farewell tour in 2024 due to Tyler’s vocal injury.
Tyler, 78, is excited not only to get back on stage, but to share it with his famous friends in the industry, the insider said.
A full lineup of special guests is being finalized, but we’re told several rock greats — past and present — are in talks to join Tyler as the 2001 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees perform songs from their discography.
Aerosmith first teased the Oct. 29 and Nov. 1 gigs in a social media video starring Tyler and Ross Halfin, where the photographer asked the “Dream On” crooner if he missed performing.
The rocker replied, “Of all the things I’ve ever missed, I missed my mind the most.”
Aerosmith performances have become a rarity ever since Tyler suffered a serious vocal cord injury in 2023 that forced the band to cancel its “Peace Out” farewell tour.
“Sadly, it is clear, that a full recovery from his vocal injury is not possible,” the band said at the time. “We have made a heartbreaking and difficult, but necessary, decision — as a band of brothers — to retire from the touring stage.”
Aerosmith didn’t retire from live sets entirely — Tyler and guitarist Joe Perry, 76, most notably performed a tribute to the late Ozzy Osbourne at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards alongside “Zombie” singer Yungblud.
The band also teamed up with the Gen Z punk symbol for a five-track EP called “One More Time,” released in November 2025, which was their first recording in more than a decade.
The insider said Tyler has been taking good care of his voice since the canceled tour, including plenty of rehab and rest.
Tyler was hit with a sexual assault lawsuit in 2022 stemming from a relationship in the ’70s, but he has adamantly denied any wrongdoing. A source told Page Six last month Tyler was “confident” his name would be cleared.
Aerosmith was formed in 1970 and went on to have success with songs like “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing,” “Angel,” Janie’s Got a Gun,” and “Love in an Elevator.”
They have been nominated for 17 Grammy awards, winning four.
