Stocks Open Higher as Trump's Second Term Begins
It’s a big week for markets as earnings roll in, while investors are navigating uncertainty as President Donald Trump begins his second term.
The Dow was up 0.4%, while the S&P 500 rose 0.5%. The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite was up 0.5% as well.
After being closed Monday for the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday, the S&P 500 and Dow are coming off their best week in more than two months.
