An urgent recall has been issued for certain Tower-branded air fryers sold at Sainsbury's due to a potential fire hazard.

The affected products were manufactured between January 2022 and April 2023. The retailer announced that a small number of units have been identified with a manufacturing defect that could lead to dangerous overheating.

Customers who purchased these air fryers are advised to "stop using the items immediately".

The recall is being conducted voluntarily to ensure customer safety. Sainsbury's has apologised to affected customers for any inconvenience caused by the recall.
