Ahead of the season five premiere of “Stranger Things” on Netflix, the successful West End production of the stage play adaptation makes its way across the pond with “Stranger Things: The First Shadow” on Broadway.
The play takes place at Marquis Theatre in Manhattan, New York starting with previews on Friday, Mar. 28, while it officially opens on Tuesday, Apr. 22. Tickets for the Broadway play can be found on tickets sites, such as Ticket Network, Vivid Seats, SeatGeek and others.

Written by Kate Trefry and directed by Stephen Daldry, “Stranger Things: The First Shadow” — which was original created by The Duffer Brothers — is a prequel and set in 1959. It follows the Creel Family moving to Hawkins, Indiana for a fresh start, while the teenaged Henry Creel (Louis McCartney) finds new friends at a new school, but then he quickly discovers something dark hidden inside of him.
