Street Fighter 6 fans will soon be able to smell Juri, Ingrid, and Ed, with three scents created to reflect their signature moves.
In what has to be one of the weirdest headlines I’ve written this year, Street Fighter 6 has teamed up with a Japan-based fragrance company to deliver a potent combo that allows fans to inhale the aromas of Ingrid, Ed, and Juri (please, no feet jokes here).
However, instead of focusing on how these characters would actually smell during or after a fight, Gaming Fragrance has based the three punchy perfumes on each fighter’s signature moves, and it’s just as bizarre as it sounds, or should I say smells?
Street Fighter 6 perfumes recreate signature moves
Among the fragrances are Ingrid’s “optimal stock action,” Juri’s “perfect hit confirm,” and Ed’s “unpunishable poke”, which Gaming Fragrance says “expresses the unique gameplay feel of each move.
So, what exactly does a quick hit from Juri, Ingrid, and Ed smell like? According to the translated press release, Juri’s fragrance is a “fruity floral fragrance” that’s been inspired by her quick decision-making.
Apparently, this means it smells of raspberries, passion fruit, strawberries, blueberries, and hints of violets. Then there’s Ingrid, whose fragrant theme has been inspired by building up power before unleashing it. You’ll get hints of grapefruit, leafy greens, jasmine, rose, cedarwood, and amber.
Lastly, Ed’s odor has woody citrus scents that reflect his calm concentration and unpredictable playstyle. So, apparently, this means his moves smell like bergamot, cloves, spearmint, rosemary, vetiver, and amber.
I can’t say I ever got whiffs of bergamot when taking a barrage of lightning-fast gut punches, but maybe that was the concussion? Either way, pre-orders for the Street Fighter 6 fragrances go on sale in Japan on July 16, 2026, and each fragrance costs ¥6,850 (around $42.25).
As for the reasons behind this unique collab, Street Fighter 6 director Takayuki Nakayama said it’s all about getting closer to your fave fighter.
“These items greatly enhance the feeling of becoming one with your favorite character. The fragrances help create both the concentration needed for long gaming sessions and a refreshing sensation that gently relaxes the excitement after intense matches,” he said.
“They’re also perfect for switching between game mode and everyday life, making your time playing feel even more special.”
While being able to smell like moves of Street Fighter characters may seem odd, it’s not the only eye-catching collab the game has had this year. Back in January, Street Fighter 6 teamed up with an energy drink maker to release a set of drinkable character cards.
